This 44 year old woman had a traumatic accident being pulled by a large dog into a cement staircase. She suffered a severe complex laceration of her upper lip past the vermillion border, horizontally fractured her left central incisor mid root, and fractured the edges of her incisors. I sutured her lip in multiple layers and splinted her fractured tooth to the adjacent teeth at the emergency visit.
Simple transitional bonding was done to stabilize the patient and allow for healing. Subsequently, an immediate loaded implant was placed upon extraction #9. In addition, feldspathic porcelain veneers were placed on teeth 4-5, overretained #C, 8, 10-12 along with a Zirconia abutment and PFZ crown #9.
